The challenge
Small shops in the Gulf often run on paper or spreadsheets. Full ERP systems are heavy and expensive for them, and most need an accountant to set up.
What we built
- Sign-in with a 6-digit email code, no passwords
- VAT invoices with sequential numbers, discounts and partial payments
- QR code on every invoice (ZATCA phase 1 format)
- Customers with balances, and products with stock that updates on every sale
- Expenses with input VAT, and reports: profit, VAT summary, top customers
- A public demo with sample data that resets itself, and a full data export
Where it stands
Live at hesab.byqora.com since October 2026. Totals are computed on the server, and a written end-to-end test of the invoice cycle (discount, VAT, partial payment, void) passes. ZATCA phase 2 (Fatoora) integration and the WhatsApp accountant are the next steps.
